Collection of Dolls "Red flower"

A special batch of dolls was made according to the individual order of a Russian organization for corporate gifts to partners from China.

While creating the collection, Sisters makers have worked out an image that unites Russian and Chinese cultures. The ballet "Red Flower" was taken as a basis, which premiered in our country in 1927. It was a huge success around the world, a story of love and friendship between the Russian and Chinese people, and a common desire for a brighter future. Initially, the ballet was called "Red Poppy" and because of the popularity of the production, the famous eponymous perfume, soap and candy appeared in our country.

The dolls repeat the image of the great Russian ballerina Galina Ulanova, who danced the main role in "Red Flower" as the Chinese girl Tao Hao. This role was one of the brightest in her repertoire. The theater society said that Chinese porcelain figurines came to life in it.
The ballerina made her stage costume from a kimono given to her by the soloist of the Chinese Opera, Mei Lan Fan. The same costumes were "recreated" for the dolls of the collection.
